JUDGMENT The claim is dismissed under rule 47 of the Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024.
REASONS
1. This hearing was to have been a 2-hour preliminary hearing for case management. The claimant failed to attend. There was no explanation for that. The clerk telephoned the claimant on the number given in his claim form and left voicemail messages. She also emailed the claimant. There was no reply. I waited until 15 minutes after the scheduled start time before making a decision.
2. There was nothing on the Tribunal’s file to indicate why the claimant had not Case Number: 8002561/2025 Page 2 attended. Certainly, he had not notified the Tribunal of any problem or applied for a postponement.
